We previously used Mediawiki for our Garry's Mod wiki. Although that worked and was quite successful we found that we were battling with some restructions, while not being restricted enough in other ways.⤶

One of the things that we added that turned out great was the sidebar. This sidebar contained every function/hook/struct/enum in Garry's Mod's Api and provided really quick access. With our own wiki system we decided to build on that. You can see how that works out on the newer [Garry's Mod Wiki](https://wiki.facepunch.com/gmod/).
