# How Does This Work?

So in your models you can have multiple meshes, and these meshes have names,
You can set prefixes on meshes in your model to have them be automatically set up for you.
like so.

as you can see you have to right click your model file in the asset browser and create the model from there for this to work.

# Prefixes and what they setup

| Prefix  | What is Sets up|
| ---------------- |:----------------:|
| _hull | makes this mesh into a [physics hull](https://wiki.facepunch.com/sbox/PhysicsHullFromRender#physicshullfile) |
| _col / _phys | this will make this mesh into a [physics mesh](https://wiki.facepunch.com/sbox/PhysicsHullFromRender#physicsmeshfile) |
| _lod1 -> upwards | sets this mesh to a [lod level](https://wiki.facepunch.com/sbox/LODs#example) |


currently as you can see we can only set up the physics and lods on the model
