Obtaining

You can find HQM Ore by mining metal nodes to completion. On the finishing blow of a metal ore node, you get 2 HQM ore. On its own, HQM Ore is useless. You will need a small or large furnace to smelth it down into High Quality Metal (HQM). From there, you can use it to upgrade your base to the strongest material or craft some T3 guns, like the AK-47.

It can also be found in red barrels along roads and monuments.
