Mace

The Mace is a powerful two-handed melee weapon in Rust. Its unique design makes it easier to hit your target compared to other more traditional weapons.

Description

The Mace is made from a heavy metal head that is attached to a long wooden or metal shaft. The head is typically studded with sharp or blunt spikes, allowing it to deliver powerful, crushing blows to enemies.

Due to its weight and size, the Mace can be slower to swing than other melee weapons. However, it makes up for this with its raw power and the ability to stun or knock back enemies with its heavy blows.

The Mace is especially effective against armored enemies, as its blunt force can easily dent or damage armor plates. It can also be used to destroy structures and barricades, making it a useful tool for raiding enemy bases.

Crafting Cost

The Mace can be crafted at a level 1 workbench using the following materials:

  • 300 Metal Fragments
  • 20 Wood

Damage and Durability

The Mace deals 65 damage per hit to players and has a durability of 300.

Against structures, the Mace deals the following damage per hit:

Structure Damage per hit Hits to destroy
Twig 4 8
Wood 3.2 11
Stone 2.5 14
Sheet Metal 2 19
Armored 1.5 26

The Mace is a formidable weapon that excels in close-quarters combat and raiding. While it may not be the fastest weapon, its raw power and unique design make it a favorite among Rust players who prefer to take down their enemies with brute force.
