# Airlocks⤶
Airlocks are used in almost every base in the game. An airlock is the first room you come into when you enter the base, typically only a foundation big. The intention behind airlocks is so if a player kills you when you open your door the player only has access to this airlock room instead of being able to enter your full base. ⤶
