# Clothing Slots⤶

Every wearable item in Rust occupies one or more **equipment slots**. Head, Chest and Legs each have two layers — a clothing layer worn underneath and an armor layer on top. Hands and Feet only accept a single item. Full-body suits replace everything.⤶

## How Layering Works⤶

On Head, Chest, and Legs you can stack **two items** — one per layer:⤶

Both items contribute their protection stats. Layer 1 gives comfort/cold resistance, Layer 2 gives projectile/melee protection.⤶
